I suspect Michigan met the perfect balance for the McHenry family of high level education, the right amount of scholarship money, and a real opportunity to compete for individual national titles.

It is absolutely insane to imagine, given McHenry's talent level and the international success he has had at such a young age, that many schools probably could not offer him a 100% scholarship. Young men with less than half his talent - but in football or basketball - are picking from multiple full scholarship offers.
